LOS ANGELES, April 7, 2025— The Cinema Audio Society (CAS) has announced their newly elected Board of Directors. Peter Kurland CAS will serve a second term as President, with Lee Orloff CAS returning as Treasurer. Continuing as executive officers are Vice President Amanda Beggs CAS and Secretary Lindsey Alvarez CAS.

 

Returning to this year’s CAS Board of Directors are Bob Bronow CAS, Juan Cisneros CAS, Devendra Cleary CAS, Danielle Dupree CAS, Alexandra Fehrman CAS, Marc Fishman CAS, Sara Glaser CAS, Melissa Hofmann CAS, Doc Kane CAS, Richard Lightstone CAS, Christian Minkler CAS, Whit Norris CAS, Phillip W. Palmer CAS, and Karol Urban CAS. Stephen Tibbo CAS joins the Board as Mark Ulano CAS completes his term.

Kurland commented, “I am honored to continue the work that this exceptional board has undertaken. As our industry navigates transformation and change, our mission to support the sound mixing community remains critical. The Cinema Audio Society is committed to recognition, education, and advancing the art and science of sound—which is more important than ever.
