It was a successful weekend for RED at this year’s Cine Gear Expo LA! Their booth was a major draw and allowed attendees get an inside look at RED’s new Z Cinema Series, featuring the V-RAPTOR [X] and KOMODO-X. RED also hosted three standout panels that captured a lot of attention. The panels kicked off with a conversation between Superman cinematographer Henry Braham, BSC, and RED’s Nada Albright, followed by a deep dive behind the scenes of Chef’s Table with David Gelb (Creator), Brian McGinn (Executive Produce), Adam Bricker, ASC, and Will Batista (Cinematographer). Things wrapped up with a conversation featuring the legendary Don Burgess, ASC, and Larry Sher, ASC, alongside Albright. Each panel brought in a full crowd and sparked discussion about craft, technology, and storytelling.

 

Working with RED is always inspiring, not just because of the innovative gear they bring to the table, but because of how they’re embedded in the creative community. From this weekend’s hands-on demos and meaningful conversations with some of the industry’s best to some cool movie posters-RED continues to prove why they’re such a powerful force in filmmaking.
